This is a very beautiful example of Simon and Halbig closed mouth 719 child. She has the most wonderful shy angelic face and is a very early mold, made around 1889 for a French market.
The sweet child has perfect bisque head with beautiful blue sleep eyes in original setting, little closed mouth with protruding upper lip, pierced ears with glass earrings. Her body is the best quality early wooden Sonneberg type with straight wrists.
Dressed in all factory original closing including her dress, underwear, socks , rare keystone shoes, and original long full mohair wig. The bonnet is a very pretty recent addition to her outfit.

Great bisque head with no hairlines, cracks or chips. Body is in almost mint unplayed condition.
